The workshop will take place in the historic Aula Leopoldina, a representative, baroque hall in the main building of the University of Wrocław, Plac Uniwersytecki 1.

Arriving to Wrocław

by plane:

The Copernicus Airport is the major airport in Wrocław. There are several flights per day from Warszaw, Poland, as well as Frankfurt and Munich, Germany. The airport is well connected to the city center.

To reach the city centre from the airport, you have two options:

  • Taxi, Uber, Bolt (70-80 zł ~ 16-20 €; at night 100-120 zł ~ 23-27 €)
  • Public transportation; take bus 106(direction "Dworcowa"), the bus stop is located directly to the right from the exit, and get off at the "Renoma" stop; change to tram (direction "Kowale") and get off at the "Świdnicka (Dom Europy)" stop. Tickets may be purchased in ticket machines (biletomat) located at bus stops or onboard tram/bus using debit or credit card. Single ride ticket is 4.60 zł (~ 1.00 €) valid for 30 minutes.

by train:

The central train station (Wrocław Dworzec Główny) is located in the city center. The timetable can be found here. The train station is well connected with all parts of the city. All bus stops are located in front of the train station.

Traveling within Wrocław

To travel within Wrocław you can use tram or bus. Tickets may be purchased in ticket machine (biletomat), located at bus stops, or onboard tram/bus, using debit or credit card.
