Informal Trip to Barycz Valley Nature Reserve
Join us for a relaxing and scenic visit to the Barycz Valley, a stunning nature reserve known for its lakes, rich birdlife, and diverse flora and fauna.

Departure: Morning train around 8–9 AM (1-hour journey) on Friday, 25th. You can buy ticket online via https://en.e-podroznik.pl/
(From): Wrocław Główny
(To): Milicz
We will meet about 15 mins before the departure of train (exact hour provided a few days before the conference starts).

Arrival: A 30-minute walk through a charming village leads to a lake with a beach, restaurant, and café.
Options:

Stay by the lake to enjoy the facilities, swim, or relax. Trains back to Wrocław depart approximately every hour.

Join the organizers on +/-10 km hike to explore the beauty of the nature reserve, observing its unique plants and animals. After the hike, return to the lake for a swim or meal.
What to bring:
We recommend packing water, sandwiches, and snacks, especially for those planning to join the hike. Comfortable walking shoes are also advised. Towel, swimming suit etc. if you want to swim.
